Coach Rooney will be helping iSoccerPath expand its educational efforts to leading iSoccerPath families and their sons and daughters to opportunities at colleges on the East Coast.

Rooney’s Bio: Rooney played college soccer at Fordham University and C.W. Post. At C.W. Post, Rooney set the record of most goals in a single season: 21, which still stands today. He began his professional career in 1994 with the Long Island Rough Riders and later played in Major League Soccer for the MetroStars, the Miami Fusion and the New England Revolution, where he was an MLS All-Star. Rooney was hired as assistant coach for the Virginia Beach Mariners, led as the Head Coach the USSF Development Academy Team at IMG Academy, and was Assistant Coach of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. In January of 2011, Rooney was named an Assistant Coach for the United States U17 National Residency Soccer Team, where he coached for 3 years. He resides in Florida with his wife and 3 daughters.
