For Immediate Release (San Ramon, Ca) April 18th, 2018

iSoccerPath is honored to announce that former MLS, College and USSF Youth National team star Amobi Okugo, has accepted the newly created position as Executive/Sales intern.  Amobi will work directly with ISP Managing Director, Jeff Jaye, to create new youth and professional affiliations across the US and overseas with his extensive network of soccer business contacts.  Okugo will also be assigned to current iSoccerPath clubs, leagues and State Youth Associations to manage and enhance the ISP customer service experience.

“Getting a person of Amobi’s reputation and character within the Pro, College and Youth soccer organizations is a dream come true,” said Jeff Jaye – Director of ISP.  “I have watched Amobi’s career since his youth days.  To witness his accomplishments on the field and now in the business arena makes his accepting a role at ISP an exciting add to our staff.”  Okugo (career bio below) was drafted #6 in the first round of the MLS Draft in 2009 by the Philadelphia Union.  He went on to play for Orlando City, Sporting KC and the Phoenix Timbers over a seven year professional career.

“I’m excited to work with IsoccerPath and help the next generation of student soccer athletes as the game continues to grow in the US.  Like my dad always says, “there’s many ways to the top of the mountain.  IsoccerPath helps student athletes find the best path for their journey from a personal, athletic, academic, and spiritual level.”
